Do you want to trip balls without having to ingest a cocktail of chemicals? Then you have to check out these new Mood sunglasses created by Hungarian artist Bence Agoston.
Intended to simulate the visual effects of an LSD trip, these 3D-printed frames come with six patterned lenses that can be layered in multiple ways. According to Fastco Design, each insert features a different Moiré pattern that filters red, green, or blue light. Individuals can then create different visual effects by rotating the layered lenses within the plastic frame.
“Because each color filters the incoming lights differently, and the patterns can overlap each other or leave blank fields, the new view is completely random and twisted," Agoston told Fastco Design. "The ideal situation for use is during travel, when people listen to music, just looking out the window and watching the ever-changing sights, in perfect harmony with the music.”
But what if you like the style of these simplistic sunglasses, but not the psychedelic effects? Well, good news: You can also place clear lenses in the frame to achieve the look without feeling geeked up.
