It’s been a huge week in Republican footwear news.
Just this Monday, a New York Times reporter spotted White House hopeful Marco Rubio in a pair of very shiny high-heeled boots. Unsurprisingly, it didn’t take long for Rubio’s opponents to blast his risky, and highly publicized, look; however, it appears many have failed to recognize another shoe crime committed within the GOP race: Chris Christie’s fishing shoes.
As pointed out by The Auditor, the New Jersey governor was seen rocking a pair of Bill Vance Pro Fishing Shoes during a campaign stop in New Hampshire last month. We’re not sure why he made this non-sensible and cringe-worthy choice, but we’re assuming it’s because he can’t see his feet. How else would you explain his mismatched socks?
