Farrow & Ball Team Up With Christopher John Rogers for Wallpaper and Paint Collection

The celebrated designer joins forces with the interiors powerhouse for a capsule collection featuring exclusive wallpapers and paints.

Designer Christopher John Rogers' excellent eye for color can now jump off the runway and into the home with his new Farrow & Ball capsule collection, Carte Blanche. Known for their expansive collection of archival colors, Farrow & Ball have been a household name in the world of paints and wallpapers for almost 80 years. Together, contemporary coexists with classic for a celebration of color through Rogers' l.

Carte Blanche features a foundation of four neutrals, eight statement shades, and three wallpaper prints–each available in three colorways—inspired by Rogers' childhood memories of family and food. Shades include Hog Plum, a muddy yellow inspired by the Central American fruit, the self-explanatory Shallot, and the striking blue of Pea Flower Tea. The wallpaper designs include a dot gradient, playful stripes, and geometric checks inspired by Bauhaus.

Speaking on the exciting collaboration, Rogers said: “Colors, and the feelings that I get from them, are always my starting point when working, so when Farrow & Ball reached out regarding the collaboration,  it seemed like the most natural fit.  With their emphasis on quality and longevity, and my emphasis on artful, declarative design,  I think this partnership has created something incredibly exciting by mining the space between both feelings. I’m so excited for people to be able to access these paints and papers!”

“I’m obsessed with Christopher’s use of colour," Charlotte Cosby, Creative Director of Farrow & Ball said in a press statement. "He treats it so tenderly and the result can be a beautifully tempered explosion or a slick confident splash. His lines are impeccable and you can’t help but be drawn to the exquisite quality of his pieces, a key reason why he felt like such a natural partner for us. It’s been incredible to work with Christopher because craft and attention to detail are intrinsic to both of our processes, so I always knew this collaboration was going to be something special."

Carte Blanche, a collaboration between Farrow & Ball and Christopher John Rogers, will be available on Sept. 7. You can find more information here.
