COS, the cult upscale basics label within the H&M family of brands, announced plans to open four new locations around the United States—opening up this coming autumn/winter season. While these aren't the first stores that the Scandinavian retailer has set up stateside (that honor goes to its Los Angeles location, followed by the much delayedNew York City shop), they show the brand's desire to continue expansion in the U.S.
The first location will be a two-story shop on Boston's Newbury Street, and the second setting up shop in Houston's upscale River Oaks district. The other two locations are meant to bolster COS' presence in L.A. and NYC; with upcoming openings in Costa Mesa, California's South Coast Plaza shopping center, and New York's famous Fifth Avenue. All four locations will carry both men's and womenswear.
There's no confirmed dates for any of the four new locations, but all are slated to open their doors this fall and/or winter.
