The late actress, forever immortalized in one of cinema's most famous murder scenes courtesy of Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho, purchased this house back in 1976, where she resided until her death in 2004. Since then, the new owner completely remodeled the mansion for a contemporary interpretation of Leigh's original home. The result is a successful aesthetic that incorporates both old Hollywood and new, complete with a tennis court, cabana, and views that range from the city to the ocean.

The house has been on the market for a year now, dropping from its original asking price of $29 million. Potential homeowners, the basketball god is offering you a steal, relatively speaking.

Arguably the most gorgeous estate on this list, the sharp asking price drop is a sign of housing market times. Designed for Bob Hope and his wife Dolores by architect John Lautner, the mansion, used by the family as a secondary home, is modeled to resemble a volcano and includes views of the entire Coachella Valley. The original asking price was a whopping but understandable $50 million, so whoever closes the deal at $16 million will have pulled off one hell of a steal.

Not to mention, every worthwhile celebrity has probably partied there in earnest over the years. The vast property sits in a very popular, star-studded Miami neighborhood and boasts 1,750 feet of waterfront access to Biscayne Bay. The master suite also has an ocean-facing terrace. The price is a slight drop from Matt's original asking price of an even $20 million.

The duplexes have 10 bedrooms and eight baths between them, and an adventurous buyer is encouraged by Jackson—who's been trying to sell the pair for almost a year—to take the necessary steps to combine both places into one super loft. Word is he's found a mystery buyer to take both off of his hands, but so far that's unconfirmed.

Out of all of the houses on this list, this estate may be the most reasonably priced just because of everything it encompasses. Country's royal couple Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are parting with this enormous piece of land, which includes four separate mansions, each different in style and aesthetic. One is Antebellum style while another is described as a log home. The land also comes with a 12-stall barn, which features a caretaker's apartment. This is basically more land than any single family unit would know what to do with, so good luck to McGraw and Hill on selling it anytime soon.

The former San Francisco Giant has listed his LA home, a sprawling estate that he's trying to sell for almost four times what he bought it for over 10 years ago. The slugger's crib comes with all the amenities you'd expect from a sports celeb, such as a "commercial grade" gym, a spa complete with a hydrotherapy tub, and a sports court that takes up about one eighth of the compound's square footage. But special touches like hand-painted wall murals and imported limestone are definitely part of the reason why the asking price remains so high.

In addition to all the typical trappings, the estate boasts a regulation-sized polo field, miles of horse trails, and up to 48 barn stalls.

The New York fixture purchased this immense space, commonly referred to as "Hatch House" back in 1998 for $16 mil. Now Spike Lee wants double what he paid, and who can blame him? Vastness like this in the perennially cramped quarters of New York City doesn't come cheap. But will he actually get what he's asking is the question—the spot's only been listed for a month, but we wouldn't be surprised if he's forced to lower his price a little sooner or later.

The less notorious Weinstein brother has had this house, which he purchased with his wife for half the asking price back in 2000, since August. The two are embroiled in a divorce, which explains why they're giving up such a beautiful estate that comes complete with a beach dock on 440 feet of shoreline. Bob and soon-to-be ex-wife Annie also reportedly completed a "full top to bottom museum renovation." It's probably big enough for them to both cohabitate without ever seeing each other to be honest.

The rock legend's gigantic NYC condo was originally listed at $42 million in March before he dropped it down to its current asking price last fall. His realtors describe entering it as a journey, which isn't so hyperbolic when you consider its two chef's kitchens, three landscaped terraces, and full media room. Still, JBJ shouldn't be surprised if, given the current market climate, he has to drop it down even further.

Veteran actor Richard Gere is expecting an astronomical payday for his private Long Island estate, dubbed Strongheart Manor. The 12,000-square-foot property includes 12 beds and baths, all completely remodeled and modernized since the manor's 1902 construction. Strongheart also boasts panoramic waterfront views as well as docking stations that can house any sized seafaring vessel.

Thanks to her continued residency in Las Vegas, Celine Dion doesn't see the point of holding onto her huge Jupiter Island waterfront oasis. The estate includes two separate homes, worth $12.5 million and $7 million respectively, a water park, and three pools on top of that. For those amenities alone, her asking price isn't insane, but we don't see this leaving the market any time soon. Maybe she'll decide to hold onto it for family vacations after the listing (which first went up last August) continues to collect dust over the next few months.
