Last season, John Elliott gave us an intimate look at his designs with the launch of his magazine Research Document. Now, the designer is giving us a sneak peek at the second volume that explores the inspiration behind his namesake label's Fall/Winter 2015 collection.
Elliott's latest collection is said to have been influenced by his childhood in the Bay Area. The new 80-page issue will include 90 original images taken around the Pacific West Coast and will feature a personal profile on Los Angeles Lakers player Nick Young, and contributions from rapper Mac Mall and designer Heron Preston.
“Research Document is an annual exploration into who we are as a brand. It allows us to examine our interests on a deeper level while exploring where we come from” said Elliott in a press release. “We’re constantly trying to push the brand forward while offering our customers a glimpse into our thought process and inspiration.”
