Since the announcement of David Bowie's death early this morning, people around the world have been paying homage to the late artist. Many in Britain's fashion community, who have been influenced by Bowie's iconic and ever-changing style, have taken the opportunity to remember him on the final day of London Collections: Men.

Burberry honored the late musician by playing his music as guests took their seats before the show and added sparkles to the models faces as an ode to Ziggy Stardust. But, one model took it upon herself to share her own personal tribute to the icon during the presentation. In addition to showcasing a look from the brand's latest collection, Hayett Belarbi McCarthy wrote "Bowie" across her palms and showed it to photographers as she came down the runway.

According to Yahoo! Style, Burberry’s CEO and Creative Director Christopher Bailey wasn't aware of what McCarthy was doing, but says the company is fine with it.

This tribute like others we have seen today, was just one small way to honor his everlasting impact.
