UK-based creative studio In Return is decorating the streets of London, but not with your average street art. The studio’s latest project, "GIFs Go Wild," is a set of repetitious animations loaded onto framed iPads that are scattered throughout the city. These approximately 30 moving images, designed by studio heads Guus ter Beek and Tayfun Sarier, can be found mounted on street lights, bus shelters, newspaper vending machines, and various other points of interest throughout London.

The project is proof of how more and more artists are using digital technology to formally showcase their work, but it is also a source of enjoyment for many onlookers. If you’re in London anytime soon, be sure to look out for these playful GIFs; you might be surprised by where they pop up.
