Junya Watanabe MAN and Levi's continue their longstanding relationship with another season of classic outerwear with just the perfect amount of detailing.
Past collaborations between the pair have seen Watanabe add simple touches that revamp Levi's tried-and-true pieces. That method holds true for this season, too, as Watanabe plays with Levi's classic polyester stripe jacket, and tweed outerwear that comes as a coat or jacket both inspired by the iconic trucker. Both of the trucker-inspired jackets feature corduroy trim and speckled elbow patches. However, the coat gets a special treatment as Watanabe elongated the hems— splitting the rear— and added a contrasting bottom section, but kept the dual chest pockets and copper and nickel accents. For the polyester jacket, Watanabe looked to Levi's Type 1 jacket and added an alternating pinstripe pattern and canvas elbow patches.
