People Are Making Ridiculous Selfie Sticks Out of Slim Jims, Baguettes, and Real Sticks

This is when doing it for the 'Gram meets DIY. There are people out there so desperate to take a selfie they they are concocting their own homemade selfie sticks, and they are ridiculous.

The homemade selfie sticks run the gamut from not-too-preposterous to downright odd. Putting two hangers together seems like a reasonable substitute for a selfie stick, but since this is the Internet, people have used Slim Jims, back scratchers, and baguettes, in their quest to capture the perfect picture.

Since selfie sticks are being banned by museums, musical festivals, and entire cities, maybe these people are actually geniuses; the signs don't say anything about Slim Jims being forbidden.
