There are few universal truths in life, but one thing you can be certain of is change. Change is constant. It is a fundamental condition of existence. Perhaps that’s why sports are so fascinating. They capture the essence of change, celebrating dynamism, motion, and the unexpected in ways the mind can grasp, if only for a fleeting moment. And because sports are all about change, they demand clothing that can accommodate it.
Prada Linea Rossa understands that, designing sport-ready garments that seamlessly transition between extremes, morphing from mountain ski wear to sophisticated fashion items as though it were the most natural thing in the world. And though change itself is the most natural thing in the world, creating such garments takes creative vision and technical designs. So, for Fall/Winter 2022, Linea Rossa has utilized mixes of recycled nylon, techno-knit, and Prada Extreme-Tex to create garments that support wearers like chassis, providing balance that can accommodate changes like fluctuating temperatures and different environments.
To showcase those technical aspects, and to examine motion and change, Prada Linea Rossa worked with photographer Schoerner Norbert to shoot TikTok queen Charli D’Amelio and a cast of models in its Fall/Winter 2022 campaign. Here, the images capture motion itself, highlighting how its alpine ski jackets, fleeces, and base layers move and adapt.
