Though it boasts zero chance of actually mattering or otherwise affecting our day-to-day lives, I've been instructed to tell you that the Kardashian-Jenner family is stepping into the resale business.
The new money-grab was announced by Kris Jenner over the weekend, with Women's Wear Dailynoting that "Kardashian Kloset" will provide fans the chance to shop directly from the family's designer-stacked closets. According to Business Insider, the resale industry itself is soon set to become a $51 billion market.
A site launch for Kardashian Kloset is expected this Friday at 9 a.m. PT.
Several items have been teased on the KK Instagram, including a dress worn by Kris Jenner and several pieces from Kylie Jenner's collection. It's not immediately clear whether the money raised from these sales will go directly to the Kardashian-Jenners, or if it's being set up as a charity-related fundraiser.
At this point, we also probably have a stronger chance of the Yandhi and/or Jesus Is King hard drives showing up for sale on Kardashian Kloset than being finished and released to streaming services.
