After mysterious teasers popped up in Tokyo to fuel the anticipation of the unexpected collaboration earlier this month, Palace has released the official lookbook for its upcoming project with the iconic Polo Ralph Lauren.
Shot by British photographer David Sims, the lookbook takes place in a desert setting that perfectly fuses Polo's signature Americana aesthetic with elements from the London-born skate brand. Models showcase various pieces from the capsule on horseback to represent Ralph Lauren's logo alongside a Palace-branded car that has appeared in various campaigns throughout the brand's existence.
Colorful pieces like an all-over print silk shirt and pants with large horse graphics interspersed throughout the design are reminiscent of memorable collections from the Polo archive. Other offerings include plaid zip-ups in various colors, jackets, corduroy sets covered in an embroidered car graphic, and even a teddy bear in a Palace "P" logo sweater. The standout piece from the drop has to be the sweater showcasing the classic Polo Bear performing a kickflip that perfectly fuses the worlds of both brands.
The Palace x Polo Ralph Lauren collection will be available via Palace stores and palaceskateboards.com on Friday, Nov. 9 at 11 a.m. ET. Check out all of the official lookbook imagery below.
