The 2018 Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Awards took place on Monday night.

The ceremony is meant to acknowledge those who are killing it in a variety of fashion categories. This year’s event was held at the Brooklyn Museum for the first time ever and was hosted by Issa Rae

Supreme took home the award for Menswear Designer of the Year, beating out fellow nominees Virgil Abloh for Off-White, Thom Browne, Tom Ford, and Raf Simons for Calvin Klein.

Founder James Jebbia was appreciative of the honor despite never considering the clothing line to be “a fashion company or myself a designer."

Raf Simons for Calvin Klein took the award in 2017. In 2016, it was Thom Browne and in 2015 Tom Ford took the Menswear award. Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne for Public School won in 2014.

Other award winners of the evening include Kim Kardashian, who received the CFDA's first-ever Influencer Award. In addition to feeling "so humbled" and "excited" to receive the inaugural award, Kardashian told People that she credits her husband Kanye West for being the inspiration behind her looks. "I'm super inspired by my husband fashion wise," she said. "He really helps me with all my looks and my makeover if you want to call it that. He is my best stylist."

Naomi Campbell was given the Fashion Icon Award because, of course she was.

Ralph Lauren was honored with a Members Salute and Diane von Furstenberg was given the Swarovski Award for Positive Change.
