Frank Ocean’s headlining set at the Panorama Music Festival was one for the books. Not only did the Blonde singer deliver a stellar performance, he did it while rocking a powerful graphic tee that read: “Why be racist, sexist, homophobic, or transphobic when you could just be quiet?”
The internet became obsessed.
If you’re looking to get your hands on the piece, then we have good news: It’s available to purchase online for less than $20. The tee was created by Green Box Shop, an independent brand that puts a spotlight on social justice issues. CEO Kayla Robinson, 18, spoke about her small business and the support it's received from Ocean.
“It's very exciting to see a queer icon like Frank Ocean giving a voice to marginalized groups and using his platform to raise awareness about social justice issues using one of our shirts,” Robinson told Complex via email. “My business is essentially my life message. I want other companies to know that they can use sustainable/ environmentally friendly business practices (fair trade and/or organic fabrics) and still thrive as a business. The fact that Frank Ocean is contributing to this reality is surreal for me and I am eternally grateful.”
The anti-hate speech design is available in five colorways: white, gold, pink, blue, and tie-dye. It’s available now for $18.99 at Green Box Shop’s online store.
