Levi's Made & Crafted has teamed up with Off-White's Virgil Abloh, who will be performing at ComplexCon, to create their own Fall/Winter 2016 capsule collection featuring 11 unique silhouettes that blends each brands' aesthetic.
The collection boasts a series of items including a shearling trucker, a splice trucker in white and yellow, a bomber jacket, a staff coat, an insect skinny jean again in both white or yellow, a boyfriend jean in white or yellow, an oversized jean, and a flare jean.
These items aren't the most pocket friendly and range from a price tag of $691 to upwards of $1,679, but they offer a decidedly cool blend of past nostalgia and contemporary styles.
"The decision to work together with Virgil on Levi's Made & Crafted came pretty naturally," said Levi's Head of Design, Jonathan Cheung in a press release. "Made & Crafted is our premium line—capturing Levi's utilitarian, working roots and elevating it with the best fabrics and the bandwidth to express ourselves more in a fashion forward way. This collection was a natural fit to Virgil's intellectual, transcendent streetwear philosophy...It's this mash-up of the familiar, the authenticity of Levi's with a jarring modernity, that gives this project with Off-White its energy."
The collaboration launched Wednesday night in Los Angeles with a long list of celebrities in attendance including Jaden Smith, Kendall Jenner, Erin Wasson, Ethan Peck, G-Eazy, Joey Badass, Pusha T, Sami Miro, Yara Shahidi, ASAP Bari, ASAP Nast, and many more.
