Kith and Columbia have joined forces again to release a new take on the outdoor brand's classic Bugaboo jacket.

The duo revisits the outerwear piece that was first introduced in 1986. The style features Columbia's 3-in-interchange system, which includes a fleece jacket that lines the interior and a waterproof outershell for optimum warmth. This function allows the multi-layer jacket to be taken apart and worn throughout the changing seasons.

To help modernize the jacket, KITH adds a few details like subtle co-branding and two-way zipper closures. As a nod to the original '80s release, the Bugaboo will be available in the same vibrant blue and pink colorway, as well as a new slate and salmon, and black and 3M.

The Bugaboo hat and gloves with 3-in-1 technology, will also be included released. The hat features a fleece liner and a nylon shell and the gloves have a liner with touchscreen enabled index fingers, and mitten shells.

The Bugaboo collection will drop at KITH stores and online on Dec. 12.
