We already knew that Kanye West helped Kim Kardashian make some editorial decisions with her new book, Selfish, but in a recent interview with The Cut, Kim revealed that his role in making the project happen was much bigger than that.
Kim told The Cut that it was actually Kanye's idea to make the book in the first place, and he gets all the credit for coming up with the clever title for the collection of selfies. Kim's vision for the book was to have selfies divided by type, but they eventually went with chronological order because it made more sense.
When it came to narrowing down the photos that would make the final product, the same Kanye that proudly posted nude selfies of his wife online with the caption "SWISH!!!" suggested that some of the more risqué photos be taken out. "He was like, Babe, why don’t we take out the fully nude ones and then you’ll be at your limit," said Kim, who agreed that it would be better not to release a book of nudes.
There are still "sexy selfies" in Selfish, but we can only imagine what an early draft looked like. So yeah...thanks, Kanye.
