Kelly Lee Dekay, a 27-year-old fetish model and designer, has worn a corset for the last seven years to achieve an alarming 16-inch waist. Inspired by the disproportional bodies of cartoon characters, like Jessica Rabbit, Dekay underwent a process called "tight-lacing," which slowly shrinks a person's waist through extremely tight corsets.

Dekay told The Daily Mail that she started tight-lacing because she was inspired by "the beautiful costumes" worn by the comic book characters of her youth. "I wanted to become my own superhero villain," she said. Dekay insists that she enjoys tight-lacing and describes herself as a feminist. "It's my body and my decision. Telling someone to conform to your idea of feminism is still oppression," Dekay told Cosmopolitan. Dekay also claims she is currently in perfect health, despite the fact that smashing together your organs can't be the best thing for your body.

Dekay's tight-lacing is the latest addition to a worrying trend in body alterations. So far, there are not one, but two dudes out there who have undergone multiple plastic surgery procedures to look like Ken dolls, and a "Human Barbie" who also went under the knife numerous times to achieve her look.
