It looks like Max Kellerman might be exiting ESPN’s First Take, which he co-hosts with Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim, both Front Office Sports and the New York Post report.

A replacement for Kellerman is not expected and it’s likely that a rotating cast of guests will appear on First Take to debate Smith. “It could be Stephen A. vs the World,” a source told Front Office Sports.

Although he will reportedly be leaving First Take, Kellerman, who hosts the Max Kellerman Show on ESPN Radio, is expected to stay on with ESPN. Kellerman also hosts a boxing show on ESPN2.

According to sources Front Office Sports spoke to, it’s possible that Kellerman will be added to the lineup of Keyshawn Johnson, Jay Williams, and Zubin Mehenti on ESPN’s radio show Keyshawn, JWill & Zubin. Alan Hahn has been filling in for Mehenti over the past year as he’s been struggling with health issues.

Kellerman joined First Take back in 2016 following the departure of Skip Bayless. In 2019, Smith, who is the star of First Take, signed a reproted $60 million 5-year deal with ESPN. Neither ESPN or Kellerman have commented on the host’s potential exit from First Take, which Front Office Sports said has yet to be finalized.
