Now that the Super Bowl XLV is upon us, we have some good news and some bad news. The bad: For the first time in SB history, there will be no cheerleaders. The good: We've brought you Super Bowl wifeys to make up for it! The wives and girlfriends of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers are a nice mix of all types, including a beauty pageant winner, an actress, and some crazy girl who's engaged to Ben Roethlisberger. (C'mon, ma: #FAIL!) So, as you prepare for the big game, check out the WAGs of Super Bowl XLV...
Laura Hawk
WIFEY OF: A.J. Hawk, Green Bay Packers
COMPLEX SAYS: Laura is Brady Quinn's sister, who became infamous at the 2006 Fiesta Bowl when she wore a half-Notre Dame, half-Ohio State jersey to cheer on both her brother and Hawk, who played for Ohio State. We're just glad Laura is making the Quinn family known for something other than Brady's NFL FAIL.
Theodora Polamalu
WIFEY OF: Troy Polamalu, Pittsburgh Steelers
COMPLEX SAYS: Theodora and Troy met while in college at USC and married in 2005. On Super Bowl XLV media day, Polamalu was asked who his celebrity crush was. His response: "My wife, Theodora Polamalu." Did we mention that Theodora's father is a former University of Michigan defensive tackle (Mike Holmes) AND her uncle is a former NFL tight end (Alex Holmes)? Best to stay on their good sides, we bet.
Jessica Szohr
WIFEY OF: Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers
COMPLEX SAYS: Early in the season Rodgers was dating Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum, but he called an audible in December and moved on to the hot Piranha 3D actress. Homie stepped his game up on and off the field this season.
Jordan Vinson
WIFEY OF: LaMarr Woodley, Pittsburgh Steelers
COMPLEX SAYS: Jordan and LaMarr have been together for years, welcoming a daughter in 2008. But all that didn't stop Essence magazine from naming him the "Single Man of the Month" last year. Woodley's response: "I'm not single...I have a girlfriend. But it's publicity. They took a great picture of me." Play on, playa.
Lacey Minchew
WIFEY OF: Matt Flynn, Green Bay Packers
COMPLEX SAYS: We know Flynn did his thing on Sunday Night Football against the Patriots, but we're still a little surprised that the Packers backup QB bagged Miss Louisiana 2009. Lacey was a former Golden Girl (a cheerleader, no Betty White) at LSU, where she graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism in 2007. We're not sure if we see any Emmys in her future, but we already done peeped two Golden Globes.
Kiya Tomlin
WIFEY OF: Mike Tomlin, Pittsburgh Steelers
COMPLEX SAYS: Kiya met Omar Epps Tomlin while attending William & Mary; they later married in 1996. Kiya is the editor-in-chief of Kid Showbiz magazine and has an interest in fashion. She designed the Steelers-themed dress above. Uhh...fits her well?
Amanda Barnett
WIFEY OF: Nick Barnett, Green Bay Packers
COMPLEX SAYS: Nick met Amanda through friends, and the couple was married in 2009. They have two sons. Nothing bad to say about the Barnetts, except this: Please stay the hell off of Football Wives.
Beth Tibbott
WIFEY OF: James Harrison, Pittsburgh Steelers
COMPLEX SAYS: Tibbott and Harrison aren't married, but have been dating for a number of years and have two children. Controversy came for the couple in 2008, as Harrison was arrested on assault charges during a domestic dispute over their son's baptism. Despite the new strict player conduct policy, the league did not discipline Harrison for the incident. So, dude can put his hands on his wife but not other players? FOH, Goodell.
Molly Crosby
WIFEY OF: Mason Crosby, Green Bay Packers
COMPLEX SAYS: Molly married the Packers' kicker last June and they have a son together. Molly was a cheerleader in college, where she also received a degree in Chinese language and culture. Cheerleader body + good brain = Win.
Ashley Harlan
WIFEY OF: Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers
COMPLEX SAYS: We don't know much about Ms. Harlan, but only months after the drama of Milledgeville Ga., Roethlisberger supposedly changed his ways and got engaged to the Pennsylvania native. We're absolutely positive that's gonna end well.
