Drake Heckles Kevin Durant in Toronto After Missed Dunk Attempt

Drake was caught heckling Kevin Durant after he missed a dunk during a game in Toronto against the Raptors.

Over the past few years, Drake has been the unofficial mascot for the Toronto Raptors. They hold an annual "Drake Night" at the Air Canada Centre and have black and gold OVO uniforms, and the Toronto native is even frequently seen courtside at games. Drizzy is also considered one of the biggest front runners in sports history. So, it was only right he would be posted up courtside when the Raptors took on the Golden State Warriors this past Saturday night. A notable moment from the contest came when Kevin Durant missed a thunderous dunk attempt down the middle of the lane.

KD had a wide open path to the basket and completely botched a dunk in the second quarter, which sent the ball flying into the crowd. Durant took it all with a smile, but the Raptors crowd let him hear it. Drake got in on the heckling too. He rose from his seat and was seen yelling "that was trash" at KD, a proper sentiment to a freakishly lanky 6'9" pro missing a wide open slam.

Of course, this was all in good fun. Drizzy and Durant seem to be buddies. Back in 2014, the Raptors were fined $25,000 by the NBA for tampering following Drake's comments to try and get Durant to join the Canadian franchise. The rapper even apparently has the superstar's jersey number and nickname tatted on his arm.

KD was asked about Drake's presence being an impact on the game following the Warriors' 127-125 victory. "Do not give him that much credit," he said with a smile. "He's not the reason why it was fun out there tonight, but he does bring a different element to the game."

The Warriors and Raptors currently hold the first and second seed in their respective conferences. While an NBA Finals matchup seems like an unlikely scenario, it isn't impossible, and the possibility of Drake's superfandom courtside during the Finals while he's off that Virginia Black would be incredible.
