Zion Williamson has admitted that he's struggling with his diet but has given a sign of hope that he's getting things together.

During his visit to Gil's Arena Show with former NBA player Gilbert Arenas, the former No. 1 draft pick was asked if he's having a difficult time maintaining his weight, and the 23-year-old was honest in his response. According to Zion, it's not easy when you feel like "you have all the money in the world."

"There are times where I will say, 'Man, that shit hard.' It's hard, man, like 20, 22, it's a lot of money. Feels like all the money in the world, man. It is hard," Zion said. "But I'm at that point now where, because of certain things, I'm putting back wisdom around me. ... Just people around me with wisdom, who put me on game to certain things, and go from there."

It seems that Zion Williamson is confident in turning his career around, especially when he has yet to play an entire season. In the 2022-23 NBA campaign, Zion only played 29 games because of a hamstring injury. He just returned from missing the previous season while recovering from foot surgery.

Fans are convinced Zion is continuously on the shelf because of that big body he has to carry around. Zion Williamson was listed at 284 pounds last season, so couple that weight with his incredible jumping ability that lands on a 6'6" frame, and the potential for injury is there. But it seems he's on the right track as the New Orleans Pelicans look to make a championship run next season.

The Pelicans finished the 2022-23 season with a 42-40 record, making the Play-In tournament for their second consecutive time. However, they were eliminated by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round of Play-In games.
