Vanessa Bryant is going home with a large amount of money following the outcome of a lawsuit against a Kobe Inc. exec that involved money that Kobe Bryant made by investing in BodyArmor, one of the NBA legend's biggest investments, according to TMZ Sports.

A court awarded Vanessa $1.5 million in a situation that saw her pick up her late husband's case and go forth with the lawsuit. The Black Mamba had invested $6 million in BodyArmor in 2013 before Coca-Cola purchased the company for $5.6 billion years later and netted Kobe $400 million in the sale.

Things went awry after Kobe Inc. president Molly Carter claimed the Los Angeles Lakers legend promised to give her a two percent cut of his investment which Bryant denied. TMZ stated Carter went forward in suing Kobe, which then led to Vanessa picking up the case following his death and filing a countersuit that claimed Carter "violated the duty of loyalty and the non-disparagement clause in her employment contract by trash-talking Kobe and his family."

Vanessa claimed the trash-talking included Carter calling Kobe an "asshole," "douche nugget," and "dick wad" while referring to his wife as the "fucking devil," a "bitch" and a "psycho" and claiming their youngest child had "botox lips." Carter also allegedly said there were "a lot of fancy-ass Black people" on a flight to an NBA All-Star Game that Kobe's company approved.

The case was sent to an arbitrator who ruled in Vanessa Bryant's lawsuit and counterclaim, which led to her getting $1.5 million in lawyer fees. Vanessa isn't done either, as she and Kobe's legal team filed documents asking an Orange County Superior Court judge to ratify the decision.
