Jake Paul has considered Nate Diaz his most formidable opponent yet after going 10 rounds with the MMA fighter on Saturday night

During the post-fight press conference, Paul had nothing but good things to say about his opponent, going as far as saying the fight brought out the best in him. According to Paul, he was able to have fun with this fight, which he believed was the missing ingredient in his last couple of bouts.

"He's a warrior," Paul said in his interview. "I had him in the first round. He kept on coming. No one has taken that much damage. All credit to my team and my conditioning."

He continued, "Everything felt perfect, and it just felt like this was going to be our night and I was just having fun, and that was the missing ingredient, you know, in my last fight, now I'm having fun back on that side of things, and Nate was the toughest person I fought yet to date."

Elsewhere in the post-fight press conference, Paul gave his two cents on Diaz applying a guillotine on him in the final round of the fight. According to the 26-year-old, the whole situation was crazy but made him want to make their next fight strictly MMA.

"He fucking choked me," Paul said during the post-fight press conference. "He was actually choking me. I was like, this is crazy! I didn't think he was going to stop but he had it in. Obviously, I'm not going to try to defend it, but it's just funny. I was like, this is crazy."

He continued, "That's why I want to do it back in MMA. It's fun. I'm with all that shit. If it was it was MMA, I would have dropped to a double-leg, picked him up and dropped him on his head."

Although Jake Paul had a good night by taking the victory, Drake lost a bet. On Friday night, Drizzy posted his bet slip on his Instagram Story, showing he put $250,000 on Nate Diaz winning the fight. The 6 God would've made $1 million off the bet had it worked in his favor.
