In July, Rob Gronkowski, with the help of Jason Rosenhaus, will publish the memoir "It's Good to Be Gronk," which will give fans "a front row seat to a football superstar’s life on and off the field." While we still have to wait a little while to get our hands on this glorious book, The MMQB gave some excerpts which should definitely pique your interest. In addition to detailing how Patriots head coach Bill Belichick discusses Gronkowki's life outside of football with him, the 26-year-old tight end makes a shocking revelation regarding his finances.
If this is true, then Gronkowski has $16.3 million that he has yet to touch and another $28.25 million in base salary coming his way over the next five seasons, not to mention the workout, roster, option and signing bonus, under his current six-year, $54 million deal which he signed in 2012.
Gronkowski will most likely have at least $50 million in the bank when he calls it quits. As if you needed another reason why it's good to be Gronk.
