During Sunday's preseason contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Packers' Jordy Nelsonsuffered a torn ACL, causing him to miss the entire 2015 season.
The non-contact injury was incredibly unfortunate, but according to the Detroit Lions safety Glover Quin, it was also something that God had meant to happen. Wait, what? While his remark may sound a little weird, hear Glover out first.
Per Detroit Free Press:
Even though Quin is trying to find the silver lining in Nelson's injury, his teammate and quarterback Aaron Rodgers will probably be the first person to tell you to not bring God up and football in the same sentence.
