On the 15th game of the 2019-20 season for the Los Angeles Clippers, Kawhi Leonard and Paul Georgefinally made their debut together against the Boston Celtics.

On July 6, the Clippers created a seismic wave that rippled through the NBA when they were able to secure a verbal commitment from Leonard, the summer's most highly coveted free agent, after completing a blockbuster deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder to land his new sidekick, George.

With George still recovering from offseason surgery on both of his shoulders, Leonard held the fort down for the first few games before he was forced to miss three straight games with a knee bruise. It took longer than expected to see PG and Kawhi take the floor together, but the two didn't waste much time showing us what they are capable of playing off one another.

Aside from that one play, the "213" tandem have struggled to get their chemistry going, causing quite a number of overreactions.

i may regret these words at some point but i actually think that kawhi and pg13 gonna cancel one another out to an extent, at least on offense

Clippers take an hard fought 107-104 OT W over the Celtics. Kawhi Leonard sealed it with a block in his first game with Paul George, but the hero for the Clippers was Pat Beverley, their defensive anchor: 14-16-7-3 #NBApic.twitter.com/mOTbiSorFh

These tweets probably won't age well. In the second half, the Clippers ended up winning over the Celtics 107-104 in overtime.

The Kawhi Leonard and Paul George Clippers put the NBA on notice by defeating the best team in the Eastern Conference on Day 1.
