Toyota is the King of the Car World for the Second Year in a Row

The top feels so much better than the bottom.

Toyota was the top-selling car manufacturer in the world in 2013, but it should act like it's been there before. After all, it is the company's second consecutive year on top. Toyota's total sales reached 9.98million, 270,000 vehicles more than second place General Motors. Toyota's projects it will sell 10.32 million vehicles this year. If that happens, it'll be the first time a manufacturer's gone diamond.

Even ignoring sales, Toyota had an awesome year. The company avoided any major troubles after years of dealing with global recalls, natural disasters, a soaring yen and Chinese boycott against Japanese products. It's going to be hard for Toyota to top that in 2014.
