DON'T STAND ON THE YELLOW LINE. We can't stress it enough. Although it seems obvious, ConnecticutSenator Richard Blumenthal couldn't follow the simple rule while at a press conference for safety, of all things.
Blumenthal and his easel were almost hit by a train while Milford Mayor Ben Blake talked about commuter safety. The press conference was held to address the MTA Metro-North line's 139 safety violations in the past ten years. Blumenthal's near death, ironically, should mark safety violation 140.
