Ferrari will fine media outlets $70,000 if they release an early review of the LaFerrari.

Ferrari is serious about not letting too much information get out about the LaFerrari. So serious the Italian supercar manufacturer made journalists sign an agreement saying they won't publish early reviews. If they break that agreement they'll have to pay a $70,000 fine.

Further complicating things are the different green-light dates for different publications. Some get to publish on April 30, while the others that rely on syndication will have to wait until May 26. The idea is to give priority to those who were actually invited for a test drive, but the consequence is that many outlets will have to wait nearly a month before offering coverage. In journalism time that's an eon.

Just imagine how many non-stories about MH370 CNN can "break" in that time.
