Tech-savvy criminals in a small English county have learned a lesson police didn't want to teach. Much like law enforcement, gangs are now using thermal imaging to find marijuana farms. The difference is that the gangs then steal the marijuana or extort the growers instead of busting them, and they use drones instead of helicopters.

An anonymous thief/drug dealer said he doesn't feel bad about stealing from grow operations. "They are fair game," he said. "It is not like I'm using my drone to see if people have nice televisions. I am just after drugs to steal and sell. If you break the law then you enter me and my drone's world."

Now the government is looking to get into his and his drone's world. Tom Watson, the local Member of Parliament, said these thefts show "the proliferation of drone technology which can be used for both good and bad.

"As a society we will be dealing with the impact of drones on our laws and regulations for years to come," Watson said, "and it is time the Government started listening about privacy concerns about the misuse of drones."

All of the sudden we have a lot more to worry about than Amazon and Google.
