On Tuesday, the Warriors announced that Stephen Curry would be out for at least two weeks as he tries to mend a sprained ankle that he suffered during the fourth quarter of a Monday night contest against the Pelicans.
While ankle injuries and Stephen Curry in the same sentence are liable to freak out fans who remember his struggles with those early in his career, a Tuesday MRI reportedly found no structural damage. Curry was seen with crutches and a walking boot following Golden State's Monday night win over New Orleans, but X-rays were negative:
According to The Mercury News, this is the 14th time that Curry has tweaked one of his ankles since entering the NBA in 2009 (but also, silver lining, the first in almost a year-and-a-half). Anyway, sounds like he'll be ready in time for the Warriors' Christmas Day matchup against the Cavs.
