Just over a week after Dakota Allen went to the Rams with the 251st overall pick in the NFL Draft, another alum of Netflix's Last Chance U is making the most of said last chance signing a deal with the Oakland Raiders. This time the defender making the jump is one of the show's biggest stars, defensive lineman Ronald Ollie.

Ollie confirmed the news with a tweet:

Ollie had not been selected nor signed as an undrafted free agent during and immediately after the draft, but instead inked a contract after impressing Jon Gruden & Co. enough following his performance at this past weekend's rookie minicamp:

Ollie first came to the public's attention on the Netflix program when it documented the year he (oh, and a bunch of other guys) spent at East Mississippi Community College. After his time there he transferred to Louisiana's Nicholls State University, where he recorded 20 tackles for loss and seven sacks over the course of two seasons with the FCS school. Bleacher Report adds that the nearly 300 lb. lineman ran a 4.87 40-yard dash at his pro day, which may or may not be useful (there's still a ways to go before he gets into an NFL game) for a crappy Raiders line that finished dead last in the NFL with 13 sacks last season.
