Isaiah Thomas may have been publicly outed as the disgruntled Cavs player that confronted Kevin Love during a team meeting last month, after Love left a blowout loss to Oklahoma City early due to an illness. But, as it turns out, it may have actually been another Cleveland newcomer/star *cough* Dwyane Wade *cough* who instigated the confrontation, which became as concrete an example as any of the Cavs' pre-trade deadline dysfunction.
Yes, according to Cleveland.com, Wade made an issue out of the early exit during practice just two days after the loss. As they put it:
As things started heading south for the Cavs in January, Wade was an instigator in the infamous team meeting Jan. 22, hours before they flew to San Antonio.
Since, new revelations or not, that meeting took place nearly a month ago, you already know how the tale ends. Wade got sent back to Miami, and Thomas was dealt to the Lakers. Also, Love broke his hand. Meanwhile, the Cavs are 3-0 since the trade deadline, which is representative of either a season defining turnaround or a small sample size, depending on your life outlook.
Probably the latter though.
