The Sacramento Kings will be without budding star DeMarcus Cousins for at least another week after the team announced today that he has been hospitalized with viral meningitis.
Cousins missed the Kings’ games this weekend with what had been an undisclosed illness, and now it seems he likely won’t be cleared to return to the court for another week. Treatment for the viral infection generally just requires a lot of patience, as Luol Deng can attest.
Through his first 15 games , Boogie is averaging 23.5 points per game and leads the NBA with 12.6 rebounds a night.
