Ray Rice has reportedly made a lot of changes in his life since February when he attacked his then-fiancée Janay Palmer inside of an elevator at the Revel Atlantic City hotel and casino in Atlantic City, N.J.
TMZ Sports spoke with a source close to the former Ravens running back this week and found out that Rice has quit drinking hard liquor—which he was reportedly drinking on the night of the domestic violence incident that took place between him and Palmer—and joined a church. According to the same TMZ Sports report, his now-wife has joined the same born-again Christian church as well and the two have started to work closely with other couples in order to mend their relationship.
If all of this is true, it's a start (though we'd like to point out that drinking hard liquor is obviously not an excuse for putting your hands on a woman). But that's all it is—a start.
