Shortly after ESPN revealed that they have Kobe Bryant ranked as the 40th best player in the NBA this season in their annual #NBArank player rankings, just about everyone took to Twitter to express their opinion on it. The consensus? There are not 39 other NBA players better than Kobe right now. And it sounds like Kobe (obviously!) agrees with that.

After the Lakers lost to the Jazz last night, the Black Mamba was asked about where he landed on ESPN's player rankings list. And he laughed it off.

"I've known for a long time that they're a bunch of idiots," he said, before adding that he probably won't use the ranking as additional motivation this season. "I tend to use things for motivation that tend to be in the realm of reality."

Watch Kobe's reaction in the clip above. Regardless of where he landed on the ESPN list, it doesn't sound like Kobe is going to let it get to him.
