Earlier this week, 76ers rookie Joel Embiidattempted to holler at Kim Kardashian on Twitter by sending her this tweet:
Hey I want you to come slide in my DMs @KimKardashian
However, he rescinded the tweet just a few minutes after he tried to holler at Kim when he realized that she's actually a married woman:
Oh I didn't know you were married sorry @KimKardashian just saw it from the fan's tweet... have a nice day
He also put himself on a Twitter timeout:
I must go on another break peace
But that timeout didn't last too long. Since then, he's been tweeting about everything from his love for Vampire Diaries to Andrew Wiggins. And he apparently also hasn't given up on the idea of being recognized by Kim.
Just check out the photo that he put up as his Twitter avatar a short time ago:
That's right, folks. It's a low-budget picture of him and Kim. Embiid also revealed that his mother probably isn't going to be too thrilled with the photo:
I'll tell y'all this though>>> Mom is not gonna be happy with my profile pic too #iloveher
At this point, it kind of feels like Embiid is just trolling us all. But hey, he could be doing way worse things with his time right now. And who knows? Maybe he'll even get a response from Kim after all of this.
