On Tuesday morning, TMZ Sports released a report about how Florida State kicker Ricky Aguayo was involved in a fight with several FSU fraternity members after a game against Florida last December. Aguayo reportedly told police a few frat bros heckled and then jumped him outside of the Pi Kappa Phi frat house while he walked down the street at around 3 a.m. on December 2, 2016.
Just 24 hours later, TMZ Sports released a video of the incident, and while it doesn’t appear as though Aguayo was jumped as he initially told police, it’s clear that he was involved in a fight with FSU frat members. In the video, which includes more than three minutes of footage, Aguayo can be seen squaring off against the frat bros just hours after missing a pair of kicks in a win against Florida. He spends the first half of the video fighting with one guy in particular, but another jumps in and appears to throw a cheap shot at him. Someone in the background also heckles Aguayo after his shoe falls off during the fight.
"You wanna do shit on our campus when you’re a fucking kicker?" the frat member yells, before referencing Aguayo’s brother Roberto who also played at FSU before entering the NFL. "Your brother never did this shit… That’s why I respected your brother… Not you, you little bitch."
Fortunately, the fight involving Aguayo and the frat bros didn’t get too out of hand. Aguayo’s teammate Ryan Izzo eventually stepped in and broke things up. But this had the potential to spiral out of control quickly, and Aguayo is probably lucky that more frat bros didn’t decide to jump in. You can check out the entire fight in the clip above.
