It's that time of year again. The initial enthusiasm that NFL players felt when training camps opened earlier this month has worn off, and now, guys are ready to go at it every single time the whistle blows. From players who are trying desperately to make their teams to superstars who have had it with their teammates trying to come after them, everyone is seemingly on edge.

You can add Cam Newton to that list. Earlier today, he got into it with Panthers cornerback Josh Norman during practice. Norman intercepted a pass from Newton, Newton didn't like a hit that was made on him, and he responded to it by yelling, "Hit me like that again!" in Norman's direction.

Fortunately, cooler heads prevailed before it escalated any further with Newton saying, "I'm good!" But it's clear tempers are flaring all over the place right now, and we're guessing this won't be the last training camp fight we see this month. Or today, for that matter.

Here's another view of the scuffle:

Be easy, fellas! You've still got a few more weeks of this left...
