UPDATE (9/27/15): Good news. Big Ben will be back this season. CBS's Jason La Canfora reported that Roethlisberger only suffered an MCL sprain. He should be back around the halfway mark of the season. Until then, enjoy Vick.

UPDATE (9/27/15): Roethlisberger is expected to go through an MRI. He's going to be out for at least four weeks, but his return in 2015 depends on that ACL.

The Steelers were supposed to be the kings of the AFC North with its potent offense. It certainly would help if Ben Roethlisberger stayed healthy for 16 games.

Doesn't look like that will be the case.

Roethlisberger was carted off the field with a left leg injury after he took the below hit from Mark Barron.

The diagnosis hasn't arrived yet, but look at the picture below and see if it inspires any confidence that he'll be back in Week 4.

Unfortunate, horrific, and very very not good. We'll keep you updated on Big Ben's status. But on the flip side, Michael Vick is once again seeing downs in the NFL regular season.
