It's no secret that LaVar Ball'sBig Baller Brand has been having issues, but he's insisted for months that it's not going anywhere. Family friend and brand co-founder Alan Foster allegedly siphoned $1.5 million from BBB, while Lonzo Ball has also done a lot to distance himself from the troubled brand throughout the year. At one point he threw a pair of BBB sneakers down a garbage chute on Instagram and covered up his tattoo.

In a new episode of Ball in the Family, Lonzo suggested that what the brand might need is a new name. LaVar, however, wasn't having it: "Hell no, I wouldn't change the name."

"Listen to me, son; When I come out with a name and then somebody tell me to change it, that’s like me telling me to change your name," LaVar angrily said. "That’s like people saying, ‘Oh, yeah, change Lonzo’s name to Alfonzo on the fact that he been damaged goods for the last two years.'"

As USA Today pointed out, an earlier episode of the Facebook reality series saw Lonzo refer to Big Baller Brand as "demolished," which LaVar strongly disagreed with. Even if the brand does manage to survive the lawsuit with co-founder Alan Foster, LaVar is committed to keeping that name alive.
