Jaylon Ferguson rest in peace

UPDATED 7/1 1:00 p.m. ET: Following Jaylon Ferguson’s death at the age of 26 last week, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, Maryland has confirmed the cause of death.

As TMZ Sports reports, the Ravens linebacker’s cause of death is due to “the combined effects of fentanyl and cocaine,” according to a spokesperson at the office. No further details have been released, but the death has been ruled an accident. Police do not suspect foul play. He was discovered unresponsive at a residence in Baltimore on June 21, and police said that he never regained consciousness and was pronounced dead at the scene.
