The 10 Most Ridiculous Sports Tweets of the Week
The NBA is in full swing and Twitter has been our CNN for the latest hoops news. Chris Broussard broke the CP3 to the Lakers trade on his account and when Stern stepped in to stop it, Chris Paul could only muster up one word. Lamar Odom was depressed at having to return to Lakers camp and Danny Granger took a well-deserved shot at the commish. In other Twitter news, Ochocinco gives great relationship advice and Skip Bayless does what Skip does best. Check out the rest of the 10 Most Ridiculous Sports Tweets of the Week....
Chris Broussard
(@Chris_Broussard), 12/6/11
COMPLEX SAYS: The Chris Broussard Twitter slander has to stop. People have been getting on this man unmercifully about his sources or lack thereof. He called the LeBron to Miami deal and he called the CP3 trade. Let's see how this Dwight Howard situation plays out now.
Chris Paul
(@CP3), 12/8/11
COMPLEX SAYS: Exactly how we felt about the events that transpired on Thursday night. David Stern flexed his muscle once again. But the fact remains, Dan Gilbert is a sad excuse for a human being.
LeBron James
(@KingJames), 12/5/11
COMPLEX SAYS: He should've worn the Red Skull costume instead. Captain America comes through in the clutch. Zing!
Deion Sanders
(@DeionSanders), 12/8/11
COMPLEX SAYS: Because you're Prime and Prime is a fucking pimp. Accept it!
Tony Allen
(@aa000G9), 12/7/11
COMPLEX SAYS: No one likes family free-loaders and most of us are broke. Imagine being a millionaire with family coming out of the woodwork expecting handouts. Must be tough. Tony's real economical with his words, too. Gotta respect that.
Danny Granger
(@dgranger33), 12/9/11
COMPLEX SAYS: Who knew Danny Granger had this in him? He should've upped the ante and spelled the whole word out. Stern Corleone probably would've vetoed that too.
Chad Ochocinco
(@ochocinco), 12/8/11
COMPLEX SAYS: Women are funny about that type of stuff. That was clever, though. Definitely deserved a chuckle out of her, but probably not. It's hard out here for a pimp.
Lamar Odom
(@RealLamarOdom), 12/9/11
COMPLEX SAYS: Lamar was running around town like a sad-faced clown. He was on the radio ready to cry true thug tears at the news that his reality show might be a wrap. Mama said there'd be days like this. SMH.
Forrest Griffin
(@ForrestGriffin), 12/7/11
COMPLEX SAYS: Is he referring to lady boys? WTF. We don't like surprises. We're not trying run around these streets like JoJo Simmons.
Skip Bayless
(@RealSkipBayless), 12/7/11
COMPLEX SAYS: Of course Skip would agree that raising a fist in anticipation to scoring a TD for the state championship should warrant a taunting penalty. The rule book talks about taunting not player celebration, which is a human emotion. The No Fun League has trickled down its soft agenda to the children. There should be a law.
