WWE wrestler Jimmy Uso was arrested for DUI in Pensacola early Thursday morning, according to TMZ.
The website reports that Uso was pulled over for speeding, at which point the officer noticed he smelled of alcohol. The officer asked Uso to submit to a sobriety test and he declined, leading to his arrest. In addition to the DUI charge, Uso was reportedly given a speeding citation.
The arrest is Uso's second this year. He found himself in legal trouble in February, after officers in Detroit claim he squared up on them. They say that Uso, who was drunk, looked as if he was about to fight them before being arrested for disorderly conduct and obstruction. The most-recent arrest comes just days after John Cena turned Uso's first arrest into a punchline during a promo for an upcoming Raw show.
"Y’all look just like your mug shots," he said to brothers Jey and Jimmy Uso. "How was it getting arrested?”
Outside of one of its stars getting arrested, the WWE is having a rough time as of late. The largest American wrestling promotion has some legitimate competition brewing in the All Elite Wrestling league and its earnings appear to be cratering. Forbes reports that WWE's stock price has fallen 31% in the last quarter, and that Raw viewership has declined by 20% from where it was this time last year. The magazine added that in-person attendance of wrestling matches has dropped precipitously, with the WWE "Stomping Grounds" event only pulling in around 4,500 attendees.
