Shannon Sharpe’s accuser reportedly confronted him over an alleged sexual assault.

A series of alleged text messages published by TMZ show a supposed conversation between the anonymous accuser and the ESPN personality on the night of Jan. 2, 2025—the day Jane Doe claims she was raped.

“[B]ut l cried when u left because I begged you to put a condom on and not put it in my ass and u didn't listen. I don't care what our history is, no means no shannon,” read one of the alleged messages from Jane Doe.

“Idk how to process this,” she allegedly added, to which Sharpe reportedly asked if he could call her later.

Other messages obtained by the outlet show the Jane Doe writing messages like, “I want like some hardcore bdsm action tho” in January 2024. Doe also reportedly sent, “I wanna be abused daddy” in June 2024, followed by “I want u to tie me up like this and abuse me daddy” the following month.

Sharpe’s attorney, Lanny J. Davis, told TMZ that the messages "show that she likes and asks for fantasy role playing and other forms of unusual sexual behavior,” before mentioning that Doe’s demeanor in her messages changed when Sharpe refused to conceive a child with her.

Davis told the outlet he believes Doe shortly after began concocting a scheme to blackmail Sharpe and denied his client committed any wrongdoing.

Doe, who is represented by Tony Buzbee, filed a $50 million lawsuit against Sharpe on Sunday.

In the complaint, she alleged a “rocky consensual relationship” with Sharpe for almost two years after first meeting at a Los Angeles-area gym. Doe also alleges that Sharpe recorded their sexual encounters and occasionally shared the footage without her knowledge nor consent.

Sharpe made headlines last yeat when he accidentally livestreamed himself having sex with a woman via Instagram Live. However, the lawsuit says it was a different woman and not the plaintiff.

The former NFL player responded to the suit with a statement from his attorney which accused Buzbee, who has been making headlines for his connection to allegations made against Jay-Z and Diddy, of orchestrating a “blatant and cynical attempt to shake down Mr. Sharpe for millions of dollars."

Davis’ statement also included alleged messages from Doe, where she reportedly sent, “I want you to put a dog collar around my neck and choke me with it while you’re fucking me” and “I know u miss this big juicy ass…$25k for each cheek.”

Sharpe offered a settlement of “at least” $10 million during mediations “within the last month or so” before Doe “walked away” from the offer without warning, per Davis. Buzbee also confirmed his client was offered the payout.

An alleged audio recording of Sharpe saying he will "choke" Doe was sent to TMZ by Buzbee, who claimed the audio was “certainly not sexual” in nature.

In a video statement shared on Tuesday, Sharpe called the lawsuit a “shakedown.”

“I’m gonna be open, transparent, and defend myself because this isn’t right,” said Sharpe in the clip seen above. “This is all being orchestrated by Tony Buzbee, who has targeted Jay-Z. Tony Buzbee targets Black men and I believe he is going to release a 30-second clip of a sex tape that tries to make me look guilty and plays into every stereotype you could possibly imagine.”

The tape in question “should actually be 10 minutes or so,” per Sharpe, and encouraged Buzbee to release it in full before adding that he would do it himself if he were in possession of the footage.

“You know what happened but you’re trying to manipulate the media,” Sharpe continued. “The encounter in question took place during the day at her invitation, and now that appears to be a deliberate setup coordinated by Gabby, also known as Carly on OnlyFans. Gabby and Tony Buzbee want $50 million. What they’re getting is sued for defamation and trying to take me down.”
