The 2018 World Cup has not disappointed so far. The worldwide soccer tournament has already provided plenty of highlights and intrigue, and you can bet more is on the horizon.
Below, check out a recap of the most buzzworthy moments since the World Cup kicked off on Thursday, June 14, and a quick primer on what's to come.
Mexico Shocks Germany
Sunday, Mexico pulled out the most stunning win of the tournament to date, besting Germany 1-0. Hirving Lozano was the hero.

Portugal-Spain Draw
The 3-3 tie between Portugal and Spain was perhaps the most interesting match of the tournament to date, as Cristiano Ronaldo tied the game in its final minutes. Ronaldo provided all of Portugal's offense, becoming the oldest player to score a hat trick in World Cup history.

Portugal and Spain each now have one point, with Iran leading Group B with three points.

Croatia is the only team in Group D with three points after defeating Nigeria, 2-0.
France Narrowly Gets a Dub
France didn't look great in its opening match, but still managed to pull out a 2-1 win over Australia after getting some help from video technology.

Group A
Russia and Egypt will square off Tuesday at 2 p.m. EST, and Uruguay will face Saudi Arabia Wednesday at 11 a.m. EST.
Group B
All four teams will be in action Wednesday—Portugal vs. Morocco at 8 a.m. EST, and Iran vs. Spain at 2 p.m. EST.
Group C
Catch Denmark-Australia at 8 a.m. EST Thursday and France-Peru at 11 a.m. EST the same day.
Group D
Argentina-Croatia should be a fascinating match—lots of eyes will be glued to this showdown. You can see it at 2 p.m. EST on Thursday, as well as Nigeria-Iceland at 11 a.m. EST Friday.
Group E
Brazil faces Costa Rica at 8 a.m. EST on Friday, followed by Serbia vs. Switzerland at 2 p.m. EST.
Group F
Fans of teams in Group F will have to wait until the weekend, as German and Sweden will square off at 11 a.m. EST on Saturday at South Korea will take on Mexico at 2 p.m. EST that day.
Group G
Group G gets into action twice this week, with Belgium-Panama Monday at 11 a.m. EST and Tunisia-England at 2 p.m. EST. They'll play again over the weekend, with Belgium-Tunisia at 8 a.m. EST Saturday and England-Panama at 8 a.m. EST Sunday.
Group H
Lastly, Group H also plays twice this week. Poland vs. Senegal is slated for Tuesday at 8 a.m. EST, with Colombia vs. Japan at 11 a.m. EST. All four teams are back in action Sunday, with Japan-Senegal at 11 a.m. EST and Poland-Colombia at 2 p.m. EST.
