Skateboarding legend Tony Hawk is also a dad. The 50-year-old gave a reminder with a sweet video he posted on Twitter Saturday.

Hawk is seen encouraging his daughter to overcome her fear of dropping into a ramp. After a few moments of mental preparation, Hawk's daughter took the test. She passed it with flying colors, much to her father's excitement.

My daughter overcoming her fear in real time (wait for it). I might have been more nervous than she was.

"My daughter overcoming her fear in real time (wait for it)," Hawk captioned the clip. "I might have been more nervous than she was."

In the past, Hawk has come under fire for bringing skateboarding into his kids' lives. Seven years ago, many felt that Hawk endangered his 4-year-old after pictures of him riding a skateboard with her without a helmet surfaced. Obviously, the now slightly older child is doing fine.
