Curry caused a stir earlier this week when he said on a podcast that he believed the moon landing was faked. He walked back his comments after NASA offered to show him moon rocks in person.Β

"Obviously I was joking when I was talking on the podcast. [Then] I was silently protesting how stupid it was that people actually took that quote and made it law as, 'Oh my God, he's a fake-moon-landing truther,' whatever you want to call it," he said in an interview with ESPN. "So I was silently protesting that part about it, how the story took a life of its own."

"In terms of the reaction that I've gotten, I am definitely going to take [NASA] up on their offer," he continued. "I am going to educate myself firsthand on everything that NASA has done and shine a light on their tremendous work over the years. And hopefully people understand that education is power, informing yourself is power."Β

As for the jab from the Kings, Curry seemed to take it in stride. He can be seen laughing, clapping, and dancing along to the kids song "Zoom, Zoom, Zoom, We're Going To The Moon" in the clip.Β

And it definitely didn't throw him off of his game. Steph put up 35 points in the 130-125 Warriors win. Β Β
